Acrylic Powder VINTAGE COLORS
Vintage because ...
The use of acrylic as a material for nail extension began by chance at the hands of a dentist, Fred Slack. In 1957 </ strong>, while working in his workshop, he injured a fingernail. He took a piece of aluminum and repaired the nail with dental acrylic compound. He made the first ever artificial nail in the world. Thus acrylic began to be used for strengthening and extending nails.
How to use : Acrylic, unlike gel, is not a ready-made product but must be created directly on the brush. The brush is dipped into the VINTAGE MONOMER liquid (monomer) and then the brush tip is dipped into the VINTAGE acrylic powder (polymer). You get a "ball" of compound that must not be too wet or too dry, otherwise the reconstruction will hold.
The difficulty in acrylic nail reconstruction lies in applying the right combination and quantity of monomer and polymer. If this step is not done correctly, 2 types of mixture can be created: Dry : the mixture will be grainy and difficult to work with. In this case the reconstruction will be not very flexible and very fragile to impacts. Liquid : it could compromise the adhesion of the product to the natural nail causing lifting. To create a more than perfect mixture, a ratio of polymer to monomer of 1.5 part of liquid and 1 part of powder should be made. All this can be learned with a lot of practice and a lot of practice.

REMOVAL OF ACRYLIC
Acrylic is a very hard product that produces little fine dust but is more difficult to remove. It can be removed with a COARSE file or with the nail cutter. One of its peculiarities that distinguishes it from the Gel is that it can be completely dissolved by immersing the nail for at least 25 minutes in BURLESQUE REMOVER . This feature makes it particularly suitable for reconstructions on sensitive nails to which it would be better to avoid prolonged and annoying filings.
